Bakery Lorraine, a popular San Antonio Bakery and Cafe, opened it’s doors this morning (February 12th) in the Rim. They have two more locations, one at The Pearl and the other in the Medical Center.
If you have never been to Bakery Lorraine, you are missing out! This popular bakery is famous for their Macarons and French pastries but also has an impressive breakfast and lunch menu.
About Bakery Lorraine
“Jeremy and Anne met while working for Thomas Keller at Bouchon Bakery in the Napa Valley, California and have been baking together ever since. They honed their skills in different kitchens around the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to San Antonio in the summer of 2010. In 2011 they met entrepreneur Charlie Biedenharn who joined them in forming Bakery Lorraine.
Every item that they put out is handmade with the utmost care and attention to detail. Each ingredient is treated with the proper respect and thoughtfulness it deserves—from the miller’s flour to the dairy farmer’s eggs and butter.” Bakery Lorraine Website

Their lunch menu has a variety salads, and soups as well as a bunch of delicious sounding sandwiches. Bakery Lorraine also offers a lunch special Monday-Friday 11 am to 2 pm.
Perhaps the most exciting information about this new location is that it will be the first to offer beer and wine services. Their hours will also be extended to 9 pm.
