Boerne Family Fish

The first Saturday in June is fish without a license day in the State of Texas therefore adults fishing in this tournament are not required to carry a fishing license to participate in this tournament.
The goal of the Child / Adult Team Fishing Tournament is to provide a free opportunity to introduce the sport of fishing to children as well as create a safe environment for parents and children to enjoy the outdoors together.
Farmers Market at the Cibolo

The mission of The Farmers Market at the Cibolo is to provide area residents the opportunity to buy Hill Country grown and produced products and support local farmers and specialty vendors. If it’s homemade, handmade or fresh and tasty, you can get it at the Farmers Market at the Cibolo.
Held every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM (rain or shine) starting in March and running through mid December, the Farmers Market at the Cibolo also offers educational and cultural events and a place to visit with friends and neighbors. There is always something fun happening at the Market! Keep an eye on their website and Facebook page for a list of special events and programs at the market.

Boerne Berges Fest

It doesn’t have to be October for people to gather and celebrate German culture in America. The Boerne Berges Fest proves that! The 3-day, family-friendly festival centers around the German heritage of the Boerne area and commandeers Boerne’s Main Street on Father’s Day weekend for an old fashioned community parade and then continues with the “Festival in the Hills” at Herff Park/Kendall County Fairgrounds. The Boerne Berges Fest is one of the City of Boerne’s biggest festivals. Attracting people from all over Texas, the Boerne Berges Fest boasts music from one of Texas’ best German folk bands, the Berges Fest Parade, dachshund races, carnival rides for people of all ages, and much much more!
Live! At the Library — John Boyd

Head over to the Amphitheater behind the library (weather permitting) for two hours of free live music! John Boyd performs roots rock, pop and Americana. While there is some seating, if you want to ensure your comfort feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets. Also, you can bring a picnic to dine on while enjoying the performance.The library will be hosting live concerts on the third Thursday in July and September as well, so make your plans now!
Thirst for Nature Event: Backyard Wildlife
