Kendall County Junior Livestock Auction
The Kendall County Junior Livestock Association has announced the dates for their annual livestock auction! The livestock auction follows the poultry show (held January 5th) and the livestock show (held January 10th). The auction, held January 11th, will start at 10:30 a.m. with buyer registration and continue with buyer’s lunch at 11:30. At 12:30 p.m. the sale will begin.
All events will be located at the Kendall Co. Youth Ag and Equestrian Center at 648 FM 289 in Comfort, Texas.
About the Kendall County Junior Livestock Association
The Kendall County Junior Livestock Association is a 501 (c) 3 organization that provides opportunities for 4-H and FFA members to exhibit their livestock projects before the public, fostering excellence in livestock production skills and practices. Jr. Livestock youth learn sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship as well as responsibility. Each participant is allowed to sell one animal regardless of the placing in the show. The money the youth earn at the sale helps to fund their higher education goals.
