St. Patrick’s Day in San Antonio
Did you know San Antonio has been dyeing the River Walk green for St. Patrick’s Day since 1968? This year the river will be dyed at 1:00 p.m. on March 16th and 17th. Once the river is dyed, the Bud Light St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade will begin! Green Bud Light will be served at the Arneson River Theater as well as other Irish and other ethnic foods. Also at the Arneson Theater you can enjoy live entertainment from noon to 8:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Don’t forget about the kids! Face painting, storytelling and other fun interactive activities will be available them to enjoy.
The Parade will be March 17th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. The Parade, beginning near the Westin Riverwalk, will feature 12 decorated river floats carrying Irish entertainment.
