My wife and I recently concluded a yearlong “look” for a weekend home we can ultimately retire to on Canyon Lake.

While Dianne and I have moved our Houston “home” several times in the 20+ years we have been married, this particular experience was the most pleasant and enjoyable of the lot.

Amy and her team began working with us nearly 1 year ago.  Initially we were hunting for investment property.  Eventually that turned into a look for a  “weekend fixer upper”.  Ultimately we finalized on a  “purported by the seller” ready to move in home on the lake in a great neighborhood.

While Amy and her  team had been helping us all along for that year, once we settled on a final property is where “the Boehm team” really shined.

Because we live over 3 hours away they organized all the necessary inspectors we needed and some we requested beyond the typical.  Once all the reports were in Amy herself negotiated with the sellers to get what we wanted done and even pushed for and accomplished things we didn’t consider bringing up to make our purchase all it could be.

I strongly recommend if you are considering real estate in around the area that you meet and work with Amy and her team.

Because of how hard Amy worked for us I (somewhat jokingly) asked her to consider a position in the project management group I work for in Houston if she ever contemplated another line of work.
